The UFC is looking to schedule a flyweight bout between former UFC strawweight champion, Jessica Andrade and Jessica Eye.
Andrade, who lost the strawweight title back in August 2019, will make her flyweight debut in the bout, having also fought in the bantamweight division. Many wondered what was next for the Brazillian after an absolute war with Rose Namajunas at UFC 251 earlier this month, but according to ESPN's Brett Okamoto, the UFC are looking to get her back in the octagon - within her new weightclass - in October.
Talk within Andrade's team is that they believe the 125lb division could be where we see the best version of the former 115lb champion.
Eye is coming off a loss to Cynthia Calvillo back in June, but will want to get back in the win column quickly if she wants another shot at flyweight champion Valentine Shevchenko sooner rather than later.
