The upcoming fight between Yair Rodriguez and Zabit Magomedsharipov has been cancelled.
The fight was set to headline the UFC's August 29 event, but has been cancelled with UFC president Dana White confirming the news.
The news has come as Rodriguez was forced to pull out of the fight due to an ankle injury. There's talk of the fight being rescheduled, but there's no current date set.

This will mark the second time the two men were scheduled to fight, with Rodriguez having to pull out injured on both occasions.
Zabit last fought back in November 2019, winning a fight of the night against Calvin Kattar, while Rodriguez hasn't fought since October 2019, when he emerged victorious against Jeremy Stephens.
