Dana White's Contender Series returned this week for its fourth season as we tuned in to get a possible glimpse at some future UFC superstars.
The show was filled was fantastic fights from start to finish, with only two of the bouts lasting the full 15 minutes.
Once all was said and done, three impressive fighters were handed UFC contracts by president Dana White and will look to make a serious impact within the organisation going forward.
Let's take a look at the three men who were given contracts, and rank them in terms of how successful we see their future within the UFC being.
3. Dustin Jacoby
Almost ten years after his final appearance in the octagon, Dustin Jacoby is set to return to the UFC after an impressive decision victory over Ty Flores.
Jacoby showed really elite striking, and it was a testament to Flores' chin that this fight went the distance. The 32-year-old dominated throughout the first two rounds, before visibly tiring towards the end of the fight.
Make no mistake, Jacoby's cardio was an issue during his fight with Flores, but if he can strengthen his fitness, the kickboxer's striking could potentially lead to some success within the UFC.
2. Jordan Leavitt
I don't know what was more impressive, Jordan Leavitt's dominant first-round submission victory over Jose 'Luke' Flores, or his post-fight splits and worm combo.
Leavitt showed really elite grappling throughout the fight and secured an arm-triangle choke inside the first round.
Leavitt also demonstrated a really unique personality, couple that with his impressive grappling skills, and he's the just the sort of fighter that Dana White loves.
1. Uros Medic
To sum up Uros Medic's performance against Mikey Gonzalez in three words, straight-up killer. Medic dominated Gonzalez from the outset, really beating the brakes off of his opponent.
It took Medic just over two and a half minutes to finish Gonzalez, securing a TKO victory in the first round.
The undefeated striker destroyed Gonzalez and made it look easy. Medic is one of the most impressive looking fighters we've seen on Dana White's Contender Series and is primed to really take the UFC by storm. Expect big things from this man.
