Former UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barao has signed a three-fight deal with Brazilian organisation Taura MMA.
Barao, who was once considered the best bantamweight in the world, terrorised the UFC's 135lb, racking up wins over Urijah Faber, Eddie Wineland, Scott Jorgensen and Brad Pickett as he led the division as bantamweight champion.
Following a shock loss to TJ Dillashaw in 2014, Barao was never the same and has only won two fights since.

Having lost seven of his last eight fights, the Brazilian was released from the UFC at the end of last year and has chosen to return to his homeland Brazil for the foreseeable future.
The news was broken by MMA Fighting, with Barao aiming to make his debut for the promotion around November/December.
Taura MMA is also home to former UFC heavyweight and fellow Brazilian Antonio 'Bigfoot' Silva.
