Multi-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion Marcus Almeida has signed his first professional MMA contract with ONE Fighting Championship.
The Brazilian's manager, Ali Abdelaziz, announced that "Buchecha" has signed a multi-year deal with the Asian promotion, and will look to fight by the end of this year - if not, he will look to make his debut in early 2021.
Almeida is a legend in the BBJ world, winning a plethora of medals and competitions all over the world. The 30-year-old is at the top level of his craft, only losing to top-talent like Gordon Ryan and Roger Gracie.
Buchera will compete in ONE Championship's heavyweight division, where he intends to do damage and add yet another title to his already stacked resume.
I for one, can't wait.
