Bellator have announced the signing of the Cage Warriors featherweight champion and former UFC fighter Mads Burnell.
Burnell, who fought three times in the UFC, but was released after losing two of the three, has agreed a deal with Bellator, but the terms are currently unknown.
The news was announced earlier today by MMA Junkie after a Bellator confirmed the signing with them.
Burnell was released by the UFC in 2018, but has won all four of his fights since leaving the organisation and has been rewarded for his streak with another chance in the spotlight.
No timeline or opponent has been set just yet for the Danish fighter.
